Don't forget to check out the September/October issue of Grow Northwest with one of my early season pumpkin images on the cover. When the editor emailed a few days ago looking for a stock image of a pumpkin, I thought what other motivation do I need to go shoot some new images. I made the short drive to Hovander Park and Tennant Lake in Ferndale Washington, a couple great local Whatcom County Parks. If you live in Northwest Washington or Southwest British Columbia then this historic park complex is a must go to.
