Central Washington Black and Whites
With the lurking desire to get out and explore more of the east side of the Cascade Mountains and Central Washington I made a recent camping trip. Over 4 days I slowly made my way between the Yakima Valley and Leavenworth, here are a few black and white images from the trip.

Abstract Ice
Abstract Ice With a recent cold snap of wintery weather we were treated to some fantastic ice formations opening up a world of abstract shapes, patterns and colors not often seen in the Temperate Rain Forest of Northwest Washington. These images were taken near the headwaters of the Middle Fork of the Nooksack River. ![]() |

Nature Found Me!
My mom always asks me how I got so interested in the nature. I didn't grow up camping, hiking or with any real influential person urging me to enjoy the worlds natural wonders. Honestly I am not sure what prompted this liking to the natural world. What I can say is that every morning I wake up I am thankful for another opportunity to explore, photograph and share the complex and unique natural environment that surrounds me no matter where I am. Check out some of the things that found me on my journeys.Tim Chandonnet Photography
